| PhotoPlace Gallery Artist Portfolios |
On a semi-annual
basis, PhotoPlace Gallery seeks up to 20 portfolios of photographers' work for perusal by visitors to the gallery. All
selected portfolios will be available for viewing at the gallery and on our website for one year. Selected
artists will send their work in either 11 x 14 or 13 x 19 inch portfolios with plastic sleeves containing up to 20 photos
and supporting materials (cv, price list, etc.). Work should exhibit a consistent style and coherent theme. All
photos will be offered for sale with 40% commission to gallery. Selection will be made by the PhotoPlace Gallery staff. In addition to the year-long presentation of portfolios, each selected photographer
will be invited to exhibit two photographs in the New Portfolio Artists exhibition at PhotoPlace Gallery, July 10
through August 4th, 2012. To be considered for our next
portfolio review, please email 5 representative examples of your work, along with an artist statement and a link to your
website to photos@vtphotoworkplace.com
Files should be 72 dpi, around 1280 longest side.
The $25 submission fee can be paid by paypal or credit card by using the enclosed PayPal link or by check to PhotoPlace
Gallery, 3 Park Street, Middlebury, VT 05753. Photographers may submit multiple portfolios.
